Meet Mr. Depress

It got all cloudy and rainy today. And thus an old friend then came by for a visit. I thought it would be nice to introduce him to everyone.

Thoughts on Turtles

A friend and I talked about turtles earlier today.

It got me pondering. :|








I could lead the turtle revolution! It would be epic*! D8<

*By turtles' standards at least... ._.

I don't like... But then why do I...? #1

I am rather sure a lot of us are guilty of some form of hypocrisy. Doing or saying one thing, and then turning around and doing or saying another. =\

Life is hypocrisy. >_>







It's a plague! I'm infected*! D:

*Although, I do it a fair bit less than some others I know. -.-

Let's save the Kiwis! D:

The absolutey, hands down, no questions asked, irrefutably most awesome bird ever is... endangered! :o

It must be saved! We must save the Kiwi! D8<

Deforestation of its natural habitat use to be its greatest threat. Luckily that is no longer the case as New Zealand has been working towards re-establishing native environments. Now large areas of the kiwi's forest habitat are currently protected in reserves and national parks. The biggest problem at present is caused by invasive mammals like dogs, cats, and stoats*. Which eat them, their chicks and their eggs. :c

*They be weasels. ._.

Sure we can just keep up the conservation, donate to trust and protection programs, as well as work to reduce the number of losses caused by those invaders... but we can also do more! We must do more! We need to train the kiwis to be able to take care of themselves! In this unforgiving world* it is the only true option!

*Sure dogs, cats, and weasels are bad enough. But what about zombies, gremlins, and that thing from Cloverfield, hrm? They need to be prepared! D:<

These guys are stuck on the ground. That's not so great. It's nearly impossible for them to evade their foes. They need a method of escape!

Thus the first thing we shall teach them is:

Um... It looks like they will be flapping off to safety in no time! Yeah! >_>;

We'll um, teach them more stuff later*! D;

It also doubles as free advertising*! So go ahead and let people read it. You can show it off by walking around in crowded public places proclaiming "I have a freaking medal†!" and pointing proudly at it. Then, once people have started to stare and gather around you‡, be sure you just start frantically shoving it in their faces. This would make an amazing YouTube vid so best to try and con some poor sap into recording the event.

Too many phrases, sayings, metaphors, idioms and what not just no longer feel right when said. They are no longer held strong to our minds nor are they related to our modern lives.

Ultimate Eaty Stuff!

Lately I have been eating a lot of "good for me" things. Salads, fresh fruit, cottage cheese, things with high fiber and antioxidants*...

The Adversary...

Lately things have been the opposite of my norm. They've been busy! D:

Developing this site, trying to advertise it a bit, finishing up some shorts to mail off, helping to make two web sites for friends, and doing even more projects than I can count*!

*It's really just 5. ._.




Still, all this stuff has been refreshing and that's good*. :)

*Though the "nap whenever" life style has its benefits... >_>

Go see this Inception movie!

Seriously, if you haven't seen it already, get off your arse and go! D:

I liked it a whole bunch! I don't want to build it up too much, but it might be the best movie EVER!

Not like "Plot warped my friggin head! O.o" blown but more so "Whole thing so awesome to take in that it explodes my happy brain! @-@" blown.

I know the movie is 'popular' and 'in' but that doesn't give you elite kids a good reason not to see it. If you're one of those people* who go out of their way to dislike a movie that everyone else digs then this is perfect for ya! You can lie to yourself and others about how 'over-hyped' and 'really not that good' it is! :D
